WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Thought Over Design is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for our creative studio. The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional with a proven track record of managing HR operations, employee relations, and talent acquisition. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to our leadership team, ensuring we attract, develop and retain the best talent for our business as well as foster a productive, happy and rewarding work atmosphere.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement and manage HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Manage employee relations, including providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and practices
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
- Develop and implement onboarding and offboarding programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company and offboarded in a professional manner
- Conduct training and development programs for employees, including performance management, career development, and succession planning
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, benefits administration, and leave management
- Maintain HR records, including employee data, performance reviews, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and practices to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in HR management, with a focus on policy development, recruitment, and employee relations
- Strong knowledge of HR regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Experience in designing and implementing HR programs and initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a creative or design industry is MAJOR plus but not required
