WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS

We’re looking for someone ambitious and self-driven to support the New Business Director in new conversations, client assessment, and proposal development. This is a growth-track role. You'll start by supporting the Director across communication, proposals, and paperwork, and as you find your footing, take on more of the process independently. 

 Much like a fund, TOD operates with the intent to select projects we believe we can create impact and value with. The New Business Manager will work closely with the Director in ensuring we're choosing to work with a like-minded fraternity of clients and partners.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Lead Funnel: Support the New Business Director in managing TOD's lead funnel across different channels - from inquiry, evaluation, monitoring, to closure. You'll help ensure every lead gets a timely response, and track each one consistently on our CRM from inquiry to closure.
  
  
• Qualifying Leads: Given the volume of leads we receive, they need to be responded to and qualified quickly. You'll work with the New Business Director to consciously and effectively qualify leads promptly, and help make this process more efficient over time.
  
  
• Understanding the client: Taking the effort to get to know each client and their objectives, and help customize our approach and working team to their unique requirements.
  
  
• Proposal Development: Support estimates and scopes of work - timelines, rates, and terms and build them strategically so they genuinely address the client's needs.
  
  
• Contracts & Agreements: Help translate a closed scope of work into our contract formats, ensuring everything discussed is captured clearly: payment terms, detailed SOW annexures, and NDAs, with all paperwork in place before a project begins.
  
  
• Outbound Client Acquisition: As you grow into the role, identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach and networking that fit TOD's ethos and the kind of founders and brands we want to work with.
  
  
• Quarterly Reporting: Prepare quarterly reports summarising leads, learnings, observations, insights, and highlights for each quarter, and work closely with the New Business Director to stay in sync with the studio ethos and process
  
  

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience: 2 - 3 years in a client-facing role with some degree of sales experience or involvement, including presenting the agency’s portfolio, walking clients through proposals, and actively supporting on pitches. Prior experience at a creative studio will carry preference.
  
  
• What matters most: Strong client communication skills, an ability to build relationships quickly, and the drive and grit to work in a sales-driven environment.
  
  
• Education: Bachelor's degree - a related field is a plus, but we'll be focusing more on how relevant your work experience is to this role.
  
  
• Proficiency with tools: Google Suite, Monday CRM, Make Automation, Fireflies, Slack, AI (Claude Design)
  
  
• Other: Mumbai-based candidates only, or open to moving to Mumbai full-time
