The Whole Truth Foods x Thought Over Design
At TOD, we're on a mission to build brands with purpose. Over the last 8 years, we’ve worked closely alongside a team of phenomenal folks to build one of India’s most loved brands, The Whole Truth - a brand that’s purpose-led and has received a ton of consumer love.
We’re now building a dedicated, in-house team at Thought Over Design for TWT – a team that operates at the intersection of design, business, and storytelling.
As we continue to build the brand, we’re putting together a team of designers, project managers (and a possibly a writer) to focus on all the TWT brand work happening at our studio. Read through to know more about how we work.
Open Roles
Across branding, packaging, communications & creative direction:
Graphic Designers
We’re building a team of designers across experience levels. What’s most important for us is the portfolio / culture fit for the brand.

We’re partners in crime design. With every new product imagined at TWT, design isn’t an afterthought, it’s an integral part of the process - it's a collaborative partnership that’s built on trust, creative ownership, and shared ambition. Oh, and a full-blown obsession with beauty and design.

Team Integration
We function as design partners (almost as a part of the TWT team, not external vendors) We share challenges and the wins - and have fun along the way!
Briefs that are challenging
And also fulfilling. We take a problem-solving approach to tackle design briefs across categories and product ranges. We work at a pace that allows us to test our designs and learn from consumer insights. And seek the solution that really makes an impact.
Category immersion
We go deep, not wide – we work closely with the TWT team to understand the consumer/ category context for every brief. Understanding the “why” leads to sharper / bolder design decisions.
Creative trust
Among both the teams, there’s genuine respect for design and decision-making - we don’t approach design as a final aesthetic layer, but rather an integral part of the process, from ground up.
Open communication
Ideas are discussed, dissected, challenged, and built collaboratively between both the teams. No idea is too small. (Or too weird.)
@TOD - You’ll work closely with our Creative Director, Anushka Sani, who also serves as Chief Creative Advisor for The Whole Truth.
@TWT - You’ll collaborate directly with founder Shashank Mehta, who is deeply involved in shaping the brand (and still writes most of the copy!), along with
co-founder Rachna, the heart and soul behind the food we design for. They also have other teams that we collaborate closely with across projects.

You’ll be a good fit if:
You enjoy solving problems. Or puzzles.
Challenging the status quo through design. Looking for ideas that are at the intersection of logic and magic.
You can think in words and visuals. This one’s mainly for the designers!
As a brand, The Whole Truth is copy-driven. And we believe that good design lies at the intersection of big ideas. These ideas usually start in written word or a visual thought - no one way is the right way. While we don’t expect you to be a ‘copy-writer’, we would like our designers to think in copy / words as well to be able to craft an idea that is whole.
You are suspiciously at ease in chaotic times.
You can bring clarity and momentum to fast-moving workstreams, somehow functioning better when things don’t :’) You like being involved early, even when things are still undefined. You understand that briefs are constantly evolving and bring agility to projects you are included in.
You’re obsessed with beauty and all things design. Duh!
You love to dissect and discuss visual principles and have a strong aesthetic sense. You will not ship something sub-par and also hold your team mates accountable on finesse and impact.
You are led by enthusiasm.
To immerse yourself in new contexts and categories. You’re keen to learn as you work and passionate about creating good work.
You’re a people person. You’re as comfortable with people as you are with processes. We’ve built a dynamic that supports open and honest discussions, meeting and working in-person from time to time - working closely at every step of the way.
You bring a strong point of view to your work.
And have a sense of humour. (We appreciate seriousness, but unseriousness more)
We work together on exciting briefs - across branding, packaging, art direction, space design and more. Here’s a quick glimpse of some of our past / ongoing projects.
