Sensing is a line of innovative, skin-smart capsule clothing that is skin and planet friendly. A new brand, Sensing hopes to make people more sensitive to what they clothe their skin with, and to the effects of fast fashion on the environment.
The founders of Sensing, Humera and Riyaz Tamboli, approached us with their logo and an immense amount of passion for their remarkable brand story. They sought our assistance in introducing Sensing to the public in a carefully planned manner, effectively conveying the mindfully crafted characteristics of their product range, and developing meaningful brand touchpoints that aligned with their brand purpose.

A MINFUL UNBOXING EXPERIENCE
A MINDFUL UNBOXING EXPERIENCE
We worked in close collaboration with the founder to craft a meaningful and exciting unboxing experience for the user.
From a gifting perspective as well as normal purchases, each touchpoint brought out the brand’s philosophy through the messaging as well as the design we created for the tote bag and pouch, gifting tag, gifting insert, care card, sticker and the transparent sleeve. Each asset gently reminded the receiver that every Sensing garment is a mindfully made product that is good for their skin, and for the skin of the earth, its soil.

We created a visual language for Sensing’s website based on the brand language and its logo. We began by mapping out its structure and navigation with inputs from the Sensing team. Since the brand was launching with a capsule collection, we zeroed in on a Shopify theme that would be a good fit to showcase the product catalogue, with modules to highlight the finer details of the collection.
An important component of the site was the copy. We first defined the brand’s tone of voice, and then used it to mindfully translate the brand’s story and purpose into website copy.

Since the concept of Sensing, skin-smart garments, and nomenclature associated with the brand was not one that customers were already familiar with, we created a special section for the website and called it the Sensing Cyclopedia.
This information-based section dives deeper into specific words from the World of Sensing to give the customer more insight into the brand and its beliefs. The Cyclopedia also goes out as an emailer to Sensing subscribers who want to know more about the brand.

Sensing was born to be a brand for everyone. No matter their skin type, shade or size. To highlight the brand’s inclusive outlook, we moodboarded, co-ordinated and executed a photography and video shoot for the launch with models chosen specifically for their varying skin tones and body types.
