VertiVegies started in 2015 with the aim of providing an integrated urban farming solution —popularly referred to as Vertical Farming— for with a focus on producing nutritious and safe food that is also sustainably farmed.
The Singapore based team - connected with us to visually update their identity design and extend the new look into consumer centric packaging and a global corporate website.
The overall brand was designed to appeal to ecologically-conscious consumers, and producers of food who were looking to venture into controlled, environmentally responsible farming to combat the vagaries of global warming.
Traditional farming is plagued with many problems - starting from environmentally harmful use of pesticides to supply chain problems which involve contamination and spoilage while also leaving a huge carbin footprint.
AI powered growth systems actively regulate input parameters to give vegetables that burst of flavor and ensure that they are power-packed. A closed, controlled environment ensures produce remains pesticide and pollution-free. Ultimately vertical farming makes for healthier, nutritious food with lower resource usage & minimal carbon footprint.
The Singapore consumer is aware that all of their produce is sourced from outside of the country. Hence, new options Vertical Farming brings to retail become a good option for mothers' looking to buy fresh veggies and produce for their children as a healthy diet.
The client conveyed to us, that as a brand, they want to related to children and get kids excited about eating their vegies! Using some fun illustrations that the VV team had crafted inhouse, we decided to use these assets on all of the packaging to make it super fun. We added a fun tone of voice to the brand for this packaging as well - to really get kids more excited about eating their greens.
